Persian Yellow

A vigorous bush with showy golden yellow flowers in spring, sprouting shoots from the root. Rosa foetida persiana has played an important role in the evolution of the genus Rosa. This transmitted to its offspring not only the golden yellow color of parent but also the varied red tonalities derived from Rosa foetida bicolour. This is a very decorative bush when in flower, a milestone in the history of rose.
